Our terms and conditions of sale are:

Quotes:

 Unless otherwise indicated, we give firm written quotations subject to acceptance within 30 DAYS for delivery in 90 days.

Changes:

Changes made by the purchaser after fabrication has begun shall be submitted in writing and purchaser agrees to pay the extra cost resulting from changes.

Refrigeration:

Refrigeration is designed for normal holding temperature only. Product load, location and usage can affect sizing. If you feel this is insufficient for your specific use, please advise your inside sales associate.

Floors:

Floor panel warranty is subject to usage. Damage caused from the use of forklifts, pallet Jacks or hard wheeled carts will void the warranty.

Ramps:

Building inspectors in certain municipalities are now requiring ramps for walk-ins with step-up floors (not recessed). Ramps are quoted as an option, please add if needed. Check local codes before placing your order.

Seismic Engineering, Calculations & Drawings:

Any quotes that include pricing for Structural Engineering, Seismic Engineering or Stamped Drawings do not include any work, calculations or consulting if OSHPD or other regulatory approval is required. Please request pricing and it will be quoted separately.

Snow/Ice Loads (Outdoor Boxes):

To avoid ceiling failure/collapse due to snow or ice (NOT COVERED BY PANEL WARRANTY), snow or ice accumulation of more than 3″ must be carefully removed in a manner which does not cause damage or tear the membrane roof cover.

Terms & Taxes:

Terms are subject to credit approval. Any balances due after the required payment date, will accrue interest at 1.5% per month. This price does not include state, federal, or local taxes which, if applicable, purchaser agrees to pay.

Local Codes:

Arctic will not be responsible for any local codes or municipality laws that may affect the approval at the job site by the permitting authority.

Freight:

All shipments are F.O.B., Miami, FL. 33178 or F.O.B., Monrovia, CA. 91016, unless otherwise noted. Freight estimates are subject to change at time of shipment due to increase in freight rates, fuel, surcharge, weight change or any unforeseen circumstances.

Freight Claims:

When Arctic coordinates shipping, the customer is responsible for evaluating the product at time of delivery to ensure that there is no damage. If the customer verifies damage, they are responsible to note on the carriers bill of lading (BOL) before acceptance of shipment and notify Arctic immediately. If a shipment is relocated before it is inspected, no claim can be filed.

If the customer notes on the carrier’s Bill of lading (BOL) a damaged shipment, Arctic will manage the freight claim with the carrier. Customer is responsible for holding the damage shipment for the carrier to pickup as part of the claim. If the customer does not hold the shipment, then they will be responsible for the cost of the claim.

Restocking Policy:

Stock orders which are cancelled or changed by our customer after they have been released for production, will be subject to a 25% restocking fee based on invoiced amount. Custom orders which are cancelled by our customers after they have been released for production will be subject to the total invoice amount.

Storage Policy:

All completed orders placed on hold will be assessed a $200.00 per week storage charge commencing on the 7th day after the order has been completed.

Warranty:

All Arctic Walk-In Coolers, Freezers and Refrigeration Equipment must be installed by a certified and licensed contractor with walk-in and/or refrigeration installation experience or product warranty will be void. See warranty certificates for complete coverage.

Please Note:

Insulating rating of 4″ thick cooler panels R-value 28 and freezer panels R-value 32. Insulating rating of 5-3/8″ thick cooler panels R-value 39 and freezer panels R-value 43.

Should there be a service issue in relation to the terms and conditions set forth in the Arctic warranty; Arctic is to be notified in writing within 48 hours after the service call.

All Invoices regarding warranty-related issues are mandated to be sent by email and with confirmed receipt of said delivery by Arctic no later than 30 calendar days after the aforementioned service call.
